Hotel pickup at 8h00am and transfer to Papallacta Hot Springs. Travel time 2 hours approx. Time to relax at the pools. Lunch at 1h30pm & transfer to Tena. Travel time 1 hour approx.

After breakfast, at 9h00am, transfer from Hotel in Tena to Jungle Lodge. Travel time 1 hour approx., in 4 x4 truck.

Arrive at Jungle Lodge where you will be welcomed by our staff with the traditional Guayusa drink, to continue to the room for a short rest before will meet at the lobby for a brief talk containing general information about lodging and activities. This talk will be provided by one of our specialized English guides, after that we will proceed to lunch with organic ingredients from the area. Later we will participate in the preparation of the traditional chocolate cookery, to learn about the entire making process accompanied with delicious fruits and a facial treatment mask.

At 7h00pm we meet in the dining room for a tasty dinner with local organic ingredients. The “Night walk” will start at 8h00pm and we will provide you with flashlights and boots. The guide will introduce you to different fascinating animals, such as spiders, grasshoppers, paiche, eels, snakes, toads, frogs, owls, and much more in one of the best night tours in the Ecuadorian Amazon.  

At 8h00am we will enjoy a continental breakfast with local fruit. Then we prepare for the “Full Day Napo ” which consists of tubing, kayaking, or rafting down the Arajuno river, to arrive at “Amazoonico”, the animal rescue center, a great opportunity to observe wild animals and contribute to their well-being.

Later, in the motorized canoe, we will visit Anaconda Island where we will be received by an indigenous family who will give us a presentation of the blowpipe, elaboration, and tasting of chicha, Pita handcraft demonstration, and cultural dance. We will also see the hoatzin and the swamp of caimans. A Box Lunch will be served to you on the river site. Upon returning in the motorized canoe, we will observe the Paiche Arapaima Lagoon– the monster of the Amazon. At 7h00pm we will meet in the restaurant for dinner. 

After breakfast we get ready to visit the waterfalls “Cascadas de Latas” – On this guided tour you will be taken to a majestic landscape of pure jungle harmony. The guide will explain the most interesting aspects of flora and fauna. The healing power of standing under the waterfall and allowing the water to massage your body, which gives you a feeling of relaxation and rejuvenates your senses. After that, we will visit Monkey Beach, the Charm of the Amazon. A fantastic and energizing lunch awaits you at the lodge.

We get ready for the rainforest hike in the reserve “Campococha”. Our native guide, interpreted by our English guide, will explain the harmonic living with the jungle while you walk into giant trees, swing on lianas, and rest at impressive viewpoints. A special dinner will be served the night before your departure.   

After breakfast, to finalize our adventure we will visit ancient caves that invite us to enter the depths of the earth and learn about the rock formations created over thousands of years and preserved by darkness, learning about climate changes and levels of environmental pollution along with bats, spiders, and other animals that live in the dark. Return to the lodge and check out.

Transfer to Quito at 10h00am.
