Our Story

In 2006 Malé had a talk with her daughter Johanna: - Here I have the money for your next semester… or for you to apply to an exchange program in the United States. You decide. - One year living abroad, right? Sure, let’s do it! Since then, Johanna has been her mom’s eyes in every country she’s visited, more than 40 so far. She is a citizen of the world. Now back in Ecuador, Johanna and her mom started Book-ec to make a difference in the tourism industry of their country and to its most popular destination - The Enchanted Galapagos Islands.
