Concha de Perla

A few meters from the ferry pier, you will find the wooden trail to this natural sea pool where you can come to snorkel and swim with sea lions. Sometimes even Galapagos penguins have been seen here. TIP: Open from 6am to 6pm.

Isabela's Beach

This long white sand beach is perfect to spend the afternoon or to witness the sunset. TIP: Wear water shoes to swim so that you are not hurt by any unseen volcanic rock.

Breeding Center & Flamingos Lagoon

Walk along the main road next to the beach, in the opposite direction of the pier, until you go pass hotel Iguana Crossing, the trail to the Flamingos Lagoon is right next to it and will also take you to the Breeding Center. TIP: More flamingos can be seen in the lagoon after 4pm. NO LONGER FREE AFTER COVID-19. Admission is $10 with a Naturalist Guide

Wetlands & The Wall of Tears

At the end of the main road, passed the entrance to the trail of the Breeding Center, you'll find the Wetlands of Isabela and the entrance to The Wall of Tears. The trail is 5km long and takes 3 hrs. to complete on foot or 2 hrs. by bike. TIP: VISIT THE FRESH-WATER ESTUARY! A taxi to/from the entrance is $5.
